Talha Mahmood Foundation relief activities in flood hit areas commendable: Governor

PESHAWAR -UNS: Former Federal Minister, Senator Talha Mehmood called on Governor Khyber  Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday. Vice Chairman of Talha Mahmood Foundation and Ambassador at Large of Pakistan,Mustafa Bin Talha, was also present in the meeting.

In the meeting Governor KP and Senator Talha Mehmood discussed relief activities in flood hit areas, political,socio-economic and law and order situations of the province.On the occasion Governor KP said that national interest is top priority of the government. He said no one could be allow to violate law and order situations.

Former Federal Minister Talha Mehmood welcomed the appointment of Faisal Karim Kundi to the constitutional post of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Talha Mehmood said the manner in which you are fighting for the rights of the province as a governor is worthy of praise.

Kundi said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has issued special orders to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi regarding relief operations in Chitral, Kohistan and other flood-ravaged areas.

In the meeting, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was briefed on the welfare work done by Talha Mehmood Foundation in Chitral and other areas.Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that welfare services of Talha Mehmood Foundation are commendable.

Provincial President of People’s Party Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha, General Secretary Shuja Khanzada, Abrar Saeed, Fazal Rabi were also with him.

The political situation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was discussed in the meeting. The political situation of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan was also discussed in the meeting.

People’s Party Lower Chitral President Engineer Fazal Rabi thanked the flood disaster in Chitral and the relief activities of Talha Mahmood Foundation.
