Measurable condition of Sukkur library needs authorities’ attention

SUKKUR-UNS: According to a report, 80,000 historical books of Sukkur Library are in bad condition and  beginning to look like termites and fungi.

The last purchase of books for the library will be made in 2006. The books supply and daily newspapers has also stopped. Appears covered with dust, dirt and cobwebs.

There are about 80 thousand precious books of politics, religion, philosophy, economy and history in Sukkur Library.

The manuscript of the Quran written in 1092 Hijri is also an ornament of Sukkur Library. The local community demanded that the  chief minister of Sindh and authorities pay attention to the measurable conditions of the Sukkur library.
