Rs.17b corruption case against Dr Asim sent back to Chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD -UNS: An important progress has been made in the Rs 17 billion corruption reference against Pakistan Peoples Party leader Dr. Asim Hussain and others.

The National Accountability Bureau’s Karachi court has sent the 17 billion rupees corruption reference back to Chairman NAB.According to NAB, the accused are accused of corruption of 17 billion in gas contracts.

The accused have requested NAB that after the amendment of the ordinance, the accountability court does not have the authority to hear.It should be remembered that the reference against Dr. Asim Hussain and others has been under hearing for last 8 years.
