Political parties representatives,MPs briefs on seventh digital census

ISLAMABAD -UNS: A briefing was given to the leaders of political parties, provincial chief ministers, federal ministers and honorable members of the parliament on the seventh census in Pakistan Bureau of Statistics on Friday.The participants were briefed about the digital census process and statistics so far.

The participants were briefed that the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics identified the blocks with low coverage in a timely manner by making quick decisions through the digital system.

The participants were informed about the role of provincial governments in the census.The participants were also given a tour of the call center and resource control center.

The participants expressed confidence in the digital census system and appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

According to the data so far in the seventh census of Pakistan, 237,448,241 (237,448,241) people have been counted.

According to the data so far, there are 54,138,485 people in Sindh.

According to the data so far, 116,442,499 (116,442,499) people have been counted in Punjab.

According to the data so far, 39,315,873 (39,315,873) people have been counted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the data so far, 19,713,823 (19,713,823) people have been counted in Balochistan.
