Lahore -UNS: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed district administrations to remain on high alert in response to heavy rainfall in Lahore and several other cities across the province.
Chairing a briefing on the rain situation, the Chief Minister instructed officials to take all necessary measures to ensure public safety and minimize inconvenience.
She emphasized the effective use of resources, particularly directing authorities to fully utilize the sewage management fleets of WASA Punjab for the prompt drainage of accumulated rainwater.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that following the establishment of WASA Punjab, citizens should experience improved services, relief, and convenience during adverse weather conditions.
The administration has been urged to maintain constant vigilance and ensure timely action to prevent urban flooding and traffic disruptions.
