Lahore – UNS Federal Interior Minister & Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Pakistan’s Hockey Team Captain Ammad Shakeel Butt in Lahore. He also briefed him on issues concerning the revival of hockey and participation in the Pro Hockey League. During the meeting, the welfare and rehabilitation of hockey players were also discussed.
Mohsin Naqvi announced a Rs. 1 million reward for each national hockey player. He assured that PCB’s professional medical team will take care of the medical and fitness cases of hockey players. He further stated that visa-related issues of hockey players will also be resolved, as PCB’s logistics team will them in this regard.
Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed his full support for the revival of hockey and said that qualifying for the Pro Hockey League is a great honor for the national team. He emphasized that he will play his full role to ensure Pakistan’s participation in the Pro Hockey League.
