Islamabad – UNS : Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of Shaheed Captain Muhammad Asif in Uch Sharif, near Bahawalpur. He met with the martyr’s parents, brothers, and other family members, expressed his condolences, and offered fateha. Mohsin Naqvi prayed for patience and strength for the family of Shaheed Captain Muhammad Asif. He appreciated the courage and resilience of the martyr’s father, mother, and brothers. Mohsin Naqvi consoled the mother of Captain Asif and paid tribute to her strength.
The Interior Minister also expressed affection to Captain Asif’s 10-month-old son, Muhammad Arsalan, by holding him in his lap and playing with him. He also viewed the medals and awards received by Captain Asif at such a young age.
Interior Minister said that the courage of such brave families is the true strength of the nation. He remarked that Shaheed Captain Muhammad Asif is an eternal example of bravery and saluted the parents of the martyr. He said that Captain Muhammad Asif embraced martyrdom while courageously fighting against the Indian-sponsored terrorists. Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that even after being injured, the young son of the soil fought valiantly and sent the terrorists to hell.
The Interior Minister emphasized that it is our firm belief that martyrs never die, and Captain Muhammad Asif will always remain alive in our hearts. He added that the entire nation salutes the families of martyrs. He further said that the Government stands with the family of Shaheed Captain Muhammad Asif and will always continue to support them. He added that taking care of the families of martyrs is our national responsibility, as their eternal sacrifices are unforgettable.
It may be recalled that Captain Muhammad Asif embraced martyrdom on 12th August in Basima, Balochistan while bravely fighting against Indian-sponsored terrorists.
