DOHA-UNS: Iran launched missiles attacks on US bases in Qatar,Iraq,Bahrian on Monday evening.According to Iran’s officials,it launched an attack on US forces at Al-Udeid Air Base. Loud explosions, flares over Qatar’s capital, Doha.
Irani media confirmed the attacks on US military bases in Gulf countries.
A senior White House official told Axios: “The White House and the Department of Defense are aware of, and closely monitoring, potential threats to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.”
After US strikes on Tehran’s nuclear sites, Iran retaliated on Monday and launched multiple missiles against American military bases in Qatar, Axios reported quoting one Israeli and an Arab official.
Prior to the attack, a Western diplomat told Reuters on Monday that there has been a credible Iranian threat against the US-run al Udeid air base in Qatar since noon.
The air base in Qatar is the Middle East’s largest US base that houses around 10,000 troops.
