Mohsin Baig finalized for Care-Taker PM slot

ISLAMABNAD : For the caretaker setup Mohsin Jamil Baig name for the Prime Minister slot has been finalized by the power circle and the announcement will take place after meeting of Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly in next week probably on Tuesday. The formal announcement will be take place in the joint press Conference of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Raja Riaz in coming week.

According to well placed sources the name of Mohsin Jamil Baig finalized for care-taker Prime Minister by in a power corridor in twin city. In this regards the high level selective meeting were held on dinner in Rawalpindi in which Mohsin Baig was also present.The sources disclosed that ‘Mohsin Jamil Baig is the first choice of establishment which is final and no body can chanllange it’.

According to constitution the nomination of care-taker Prime Minister with consultation of sitting Prime Minister and Leader of the opposition in National Assembly.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Raja Riaz will meet on Tuesday in Islamabad for consultation for name of Care-Taker Prime Minister to fulfill the constitution and legal requirements.

The sources said that the formal announcement will be in next week by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Raja Riyaz in joint press conference by next week probably on Tuesday or Wednesday in Islamabad.

PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and PDM chief ,Fazal-u-Rehman have agreed on the name of Mohsin Baig after recommendation from Rawalpindi , however, Asif zardari has accepted Rawalpindi decision despite reservations.

It should be noted that the recent talks between Nawaz Sharif and Asif zardari  in Dubai regarding the upcoming elections and the caretaker government set-up have been fruitless and  serious differences had arisen between them after which the establishment had to take this decision.
