Lahore -UNS : The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League’s digital employment initiative “Salahiat Barhao Apna kamao” has quickly gained momentum among the public, with over 50,000 individuals registering within just five days of its launch. Registration will remain open until April 31, while online classes for the program will begin on May 1, running daily from 9 PM to 11 PM.
A meeting was held at the Central Media Cell under the chairmanship of Tabish Qayyum, spokesperson for the Markazi Muslim League. Also present were Pakistan Digital Head Malik Waqas Saeed and campaign coordinator Zaman Saif, among others. Malik Waqas briefed the attendees, highlighting that the registration campaign has received an overwhelming response, with women also actively participating.
Preparations are underway to establish classrooms across the country by May 1, and district coordinators have been instructed to set up training spaces in various localities to accommodate more young people in the program. This is the first course under the Skill Up, Earn More initiative and will run for ten days.
Speaking on the occasion, Tabish Qayyum emphasized that the core objective of the program is to equip people with practical digital skills right at their doorstep — skills that can help them become financially independent. “Instead of charging hefty fees, we are offering these courses free of cost. Our goal is to replace despair and hopelessness with confidence and opportunity, turning young people into productive members of society,” he added.
