MOSCOW -UNS: Ambassador on Education and Science for Pakistan and Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia & CIS Dr Shahid Ahmad in collaboration with Pakistani community in Moscow and embassy of Pakistan in Moscow celebrated, 65th anniversary of the Russian peoples Friendship University (RUDN) named after Patrice Lumamba on 5th Feburary,2025 in a local restaurant in Moscow.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Russia Khalid Jamali was the chief Guest. It was a very well organized event which was attended by a large number of Pakistanies residing in Moscow, prominent scholars and businessmen of Russia, Education and Graduates Graduated from RUDN.
The Ambassador for Education and Science in Pakistan and Chairman of the Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia & CIS, Dr.Shahid Hasan thanked the participants and the chief Guest for
gracing the occasion. He also briefed the participants on the history of the university and shared the the details of the graduates graduate from the university.
Dr.Ashraf Nizami president of PMA Lahore shared his views and recalled his old days while studying in the Soviet Era. He also put light that, on the event which the APGR & CIS organized in relation to 65th
anniversary in Lahore, Pakistan few days back.
Engr. Iftikhar Ali, General Secretary, Association of Pakistani Graduates from Russia & CIS congratulated RUDN on its 65th Anniversary and its outstanding role in Education. He further told that Students of more than 160 countries are studying in RUDN.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Russia Mr. Khalid Jamali appreciated the role and efforts of Dr.Shahid Hasan especially in the fields of Education and science and promoting friendly and bilateral Relation
between Pakistan and Russia.
Former Vice Chancellor Government College University, Dr. Hassan Shah shared 0it light on the opportunities exists in further promoting ties with Russia especially in different areas of Education. Other Guests also spoke on the occasion and congratulated RUDN on its anniversary and thanked Dr. Shahid for playing an active role in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries and especially his efforts and support in the area of Education and Science.
