“Citrus Gala” at Ghazi organised by University of Haripur

GHAzI- UNS: Haripur University organized a grand “Citrus Gala” at Ghazi,on Tuesday. Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Local Government Minister  Yusuf Ayub Khan and PTI MPA Malik Adeel Iqbal made a special appearance at the “Citrus Gala” organized by Haripur University in Ghazi.
The efforts of Vice Chancellor Haripur University Professor Shafiqur Rehman and Director Agriculture Haripur, Mumtaz Khan were appreciated.

Yusuf Ayub Khan praised these initiatives and said that such programs play an important role in the promotion of agriculture.He added that events like the Citrus Gala give farmers an opportunity to learn modern farming methods.

He said this will increase the agricultural production. Through these programs, not only development in agriculture will be possible but also help in improving the economy of farmers.

Such initiatives are aimed at making farmers aware of new trends and strengthening the agriculture sector. This wonderful effort of Haripur University is certainly commendable and will be a milestone for the development of agriculture. For the production of Ghazi Citrus. It is well known that local farmers are producing different types of Citrus with hard work. With timely guidance of farmers and provision of modern technology, agricultural and per yield production will be increase. Especially, the increase in citrus production increase the income of local farmers.
