HELP Foundation will provide shelter to orphaned children,mothers:CEO

ISLAMABAD -UNS: The HELP Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the underprivileged, launched the “Aagosh-e-Fatima” project to provide protection and shelter to orphaned children and their mothers. The project aims to create a safe and supportive environment for these vulnerable individuals.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, HELP Foundation CEO Liaquat Ali said that the project will provide 400 one-room apartments on 52 kanals of land in Kamalia Bypass, where orphaned children can live with their mothers. The project also includes a school, madrasa, and mosque to equip the children with education and values, enabling them to become responsible citizens.

The project, valued at Rs. 1 billion, is expected to be completed within two and a half years. After its successful implementation in Kamalia, the project will be expanded to other areas.

HELP Foundation’s efforts were praised by various dignitaries present at the event. Shahid Mir, General Secretary of the Scotland Press Club, commended the foundation for providing facilities to people in small and backward cities, highlighting their installation of 55 water pumps and construction of 101 mosques.

Afzal Butt, President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), appreciated the project, citing the Prophet’s (PBUH) words on the importance of caring for orphans. Azhar Jatoi, President of the National Press Club (NPC), reiterated the club’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of Journalists and marginalised sections of society, and portraying a soft image of Pakistan to the world.

Nayyer Ali, Secretary of NPC, emphasized the importance of publicizing good deeds, praising HELP Foundation’s excellent work. Tariq Ali Virk, President of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ), pledged support for the project, acknowledging it as an excellent initiative.

HELP Foundation’s “Aagosh-e-Fatima” project is a testament to the organization’s commitment to serving the marginalized and underprivileged. With the support of the media and the public, this project has the potential to transform the lives of countless orphaned children and their mothers.
