TANK -UNS: The customs staff especially recent posted Inspector are involved in smuggling of Iranian diesel,other goods across the Tank district.
According to the details,after the transferred of a Customs Inspector in Tank district, once again the Iranian diesel mafia has become rampant.
According to market sources with the collusion of various agencies and the mafia customs staff are involved in supplying Iranian diesel to the pumps across the District, the series of embezzlement of the national treasury started on the basis of crores of rupees.
District Tank has become a non-customs paid goods hub and various godowns are filled with ‘Chalia’, non-customs paid cigarettes, cloth and dry fruits.
According to the authorities, various pump owners are fully involved in this abomination and the silence of the custom picker has created analogies in the circles related to it.
According to local sources the Iranian petroleum mafia and the new customs inspector is using DI Khan,Tank Road and South Waziristan-Tank Road for smuggling from midnight 12 pm till morning. Customs police are refraining from taking any action.The police,custom and others are involved in illegal smuggling and minting millions of ruppees.
