ISLAMABAD -UNS:Imam e Kaaba/ Advisor at Saudi Royal Courts of Saudi Arabia/ President of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah, Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid visited the new campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
He was accompanied by IIUI President, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi who briefed him about the male and female campuses, faculties and facilities.
Imam e Kaaba also visited the site for King Salman bin Abdul Aziz grand mosque. He was briefed on the occasion that the mosque will be built at the cost of 32 million dollars approximately. Imam e Kaaba was told that there will be an ample capacity in the inner hall of the Mosque where as many as 4000 male and 2000 female will offer prayer, while the yard will also have a capacity to accommodate 6000 people. There will be a library and a museum, while there will also be a Muhammad bin Salman Auditorium for conferences in the Mosque.
He said this endowment from the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques would further enhance the international stature of the university. I am thankful for the exemplary hospitality of the IIUI management, said H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid. He said that the University Rector and President deserve appreciation as the university held a very constructive and successful conference on the topic of “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law”. Imam e Kaaba said that we have a very clear concept that IIUI is truly serving the Muslim world.
