ISLAMABAD –UNS: Former Prime Minister Muslim League leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s contacts with the establishment and powerful circles are increasing.
In this regard, Shahid Abbasi has not willing to becoming caretaker prime minister.
According to a source Shahid Khaqan Abbasi declaring him selves a strong and unanimous candidate for the Prime Minister’s seat in the future proposed coalition government.For which they apparently have the support of powerful forces.
However,Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is eyeing the Prime Ministers’ seat in the government formed as a result of the next election.
According to sources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has proposed the name of Miftah Ismail for caretaker prime minister, which is being considered.
However, former finance minister Hafeez Sheikh is also a strong candidate for caretaker prime minister
Hafeez Sheikh has the support of international financial institutions and the Muslim League-N is giving priority to Hafeez Sheikh over Miftah.
