ISLAMABAD -UNS:The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists used American weapons and ammunition to attack security forces in Balochistan’s Zhob, high-profile investigations have revealed.
Informed sources in the security forces said that the suspects wore American uniforms and used assault rifles, helmets, gloves, backpacks, and uniforms in the terrorist attack that left nine security officials martyred and five terrorists killed.
Sources said the terrorists wearing American soldiers uniforms could be seen in pictures. They said the suspects used weapons and uniforms which the US forces had left in Afghanistan.

Nine Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martydrom while five terrorists were killed after militants launched a “dastardly attack” on the Zhob garrison in northern Balochistan on Wednesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement, said the terrorists’ initial attempt “to sneak into the facility was checked by soldiers on duty”.
“In ensuing heavy exchange of fire, the terrorists have been contained into a small area at the boundary,” the ISPR said, adding that three “heavily armed terrorists” had been killed so far.
“A clearance operation by security forces is under way to apprehend the remaining two terrorists as well,” the statement said.
“Security forces remain determined to thwart all such ghastly attempts at destroying peace of Balochistan and Pakistan,” the ISPR added.
