Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina pays farewell visit to Speaker NA

ISLAMABAD -UNS: The Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina,Sakib Foric, made a farewell visit to the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Raja Parvez Ashraf, today, at the Parliament, in Islamabad.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing parliamentary and bilateral relations; and exploring avenues for further cooperation between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Pakistan.

The Speaker expressed his delectation at the services and hard work of Ambassador Foric in strengthening the historical and cultural ties that bind the two nations together.

Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf stated, “Our countries share a long-standing bond based on common values and a shared commitment to peace and prosperity. We look forward to deepening our collaboration in various fields, including trade, investment, tourism, and parliamentary exchanges.” He added “We are committed to promoting people-to-people exchanges, cultural understanding, and economic cooperation for the benefit of both our nations.”

Ambassador Sakib Foric expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and hospitality extended to him during his stay in Pakistan. He affirmed the commitment of Bosnia & Herzegovina to strengthen ties with Pakistan and further expand the bilateral cooperation.

The meeting concluded with a mutual desire to further enhance parliamentary exchanges and explore new avenues for collaboration in diverse areas. Both sides reiterated their commitment to fostering closer ties between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Pakistan for the benefit of their peoples.
