Medical report of Imran Khan as fake;’No forensic experts,facilities in PIMS’

ISLAMABAD : Describing Imran’s Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences  PIMS’ medical report as fake, the official sources have claimed that ‘PIMS is not a forensic experts and facilities’.The sources of PIMS revealed that ‘If the facts are in front, Imran Khan’s report can be declared fake, on which the government will be read as a lie, and those responsible will also be exposed’.

The sources said that PIMS concerned officials have misled the Health Minister by giving a fake report to him.

Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel claimed in press conference few days back that Imran Khan’s medical exam at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad revealed alcohol and cocaine use. The medical test was done when former Prime Minister was under arrest in a Abdul Qadir University case.

Not only has Imran Khan denied this allegation, but he has also given a notice to Health Minister Qadir Patel was sent under Section 8 of the Defamation Ordinance, 2002 for circulating “wrongful, baseless, false, misleading, erroneous, malicious and defamatory” information in his May 26 press conference.

The sources said that due to lack of qualified forensic expert (MLO) in PIMS, urine samples were sent for toxicology. Since unqualified MLO, the member of the board lacks expertise in the field of forensic medicine and made the entire medical reports of different signatories contradictory while sending urine samples for toxicology.

‘Blood testing is the most accurate method of measuring the amount of alcohol and other drugs in the body’.

According to professional sources of PIMS, Dr.Irshad an unqualified MLO is released this report which is fake. He is not qualified for MLO as he is not an employee of PIMS. He is on deputation in PIMS.’ His deputation period has expired, but he is working in PIMS illegally as MLO’.

Sources further disclosure of non-supply of forensic expert in medico-legal department in government hospital PIMS.

In the recent meeting of the Criminal Justice Coordination Committee, there was serious concern over the loss of crime scenes from post-mortems in government hospitals in federal capital.

The absence of forensic experts in the medical board formed repeatedly by government hospitals PIMS and Poly Clinic Hospital.

Dozens of reports of high-profile cases by the medical board on behalf of PIMS and Poly Clinic were also controversial.

The government was kept in the dark on the reports of various political and eminent personalities including Imran Khan report on the medical board of PIMS.

The sources said that the high-profile case of Imran Khan’s medical board is the taking of wrong samples by a forensic expert doctor without a degree.

The Minister of Health presented an unauthentic and contrary to facts report to the media.
