TERBELA GHAzI: Maulana Noor ul Huda, a well-known religious scholar of Haripur district and Khatib of Jamia Masjid, Mohat sector, Ghazi Hamlet, passed away yesterday after a prolong illness. The funeral prayers and burial of the deceased were held yesterday evening at his ancestral cemetery, Ghazi Hamlet. The deceased was suffering from liver disease and remained bedridden for a long time. Maulana Noor ul Hoda was father of Shamsul Huda, Maulana Nisar Ahmed, educationist Ejaz Ahmed, civil engineer Zia Ahmed and renowned cardiologist Dr. Tufail Ejaz of Al Noor Medical Center Ghazi Hamlet.
He was also maternal uncle of senior journalist chairman Press Club Ghazi Qazi Muhammad Asif, renowned anchor MDK2 TV and senior program manager Khyber TV Qazi Arif Mehmood, member Press Club Ghazi Qazi Jamal Ahmed and Qazi Mukhtar Ahmed, Age of deceased was over 90. Late Maulana Noor Al Huda was re-settled in Ghazi Hamlet in 1968 along with his other family members after being dislocated due to construction of world fam Tarbela Dam Project as his native village was submerged under water of Tarbela Dam.
A large number of people belonging to different sephere of life including religious, political personalities , journalist community participated in his bruial ceremony and prayed that Allimighty Allah Tahala may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the brieved family to bear that irreparable loss. They said that after the departure of Maulana Noor ul Hoda, the district Haripur was deprived of a great religiouse scholar and Alam .
