TANK -UNS : Sector Commander South, along with Deputy Commissioner Tank, made an emergency visit to the areas affected by the recent heavy rains, determined to take practical steps for the immediate restoration of communication roads and bridges, due to the heavy rain that started last night in Tank, many areas of Tank have been affected and the ground connection of many areas has been cut off from Tank.
Sector Commander South Brigadier Suhail Bajwa along with Deputy Commissioner Tank Shoaib Khan, DPO Waqar Ahmad, Commanding Officer Lt Col Umar and Assistant Commissioner Amin Ullah visited village Bara Khel on Saturday to assess the damage and other relief operations in the affected areas. Village Kot Allah Dad, Bypass and Village Abi Zar Visited on emergency basis.
During these visits, the senior officials of the Civil and Pakistan Army have reiterated their commitment to speed up the relief work through heavy machinery for the immediate restoration of bridges and roads in the rain-affected areas, so that the areas that have lost contact with the tank can be restored,
On this occasion, Sector Commander South Brigadier Suhail Bajwa said that Pakistan Army and FC South will stand side by side with the district administration in the relief work.
However, in order to deal with any emergency, FC South will provide full support to the district administration to redress the grievances of the citizens.
