Protest against load shedding in Wana

WANA -UNS: People belonging to the Azam Warsak area of ​​Birmal Tehsil in South Waziristan Lower protested for the third day in Rustam Bazar Wana regarding loadshedding and power outage and for the last three days, electricity supply has been suspended from the entire district by putting chains on the main power line.

PPP district president Amanullah Wazir, JUI district president Maulana Mirza Jan Wazir, former JUI candidate for National Assembly Mahmood Alam, Pashtunkhawa MAP leader Malik Khayal Mohammad Wazir, NDM leader Zain Ullah, Taj Mohammad Wazir from business community, Ayaz Wazir from ANP, Noor zaman Wazir And JI District President Nadeem Khan Wazir and GS Asadullah besides a large number of people participated in the protest.

The protestors said that we are given electricity only for 2 hours out of 24 hours, and only one day in three days is given to the Azam Warsak area of ​​Tehsil Birmal.
It is only for two hours 18 MW electricity is generated from Gomal zam Dam yet we are not given our right.

The protestors said that Gomalzam Dam electricity is the first right of the people of Waziristan, former Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani had promised us in the past, That electricity is to be given to Waziristan before Gomalzam Dam but unfortunately it is not being given to us now.
