MARYLAND -UNS: Chinese-American Karina Hou on Monday announced her complete support to collaborate with the World Minorities Alliance (WMA) in holding its interfaith art competition to be held on August 27 this year in New York.
A renowned US-Chinese artist, musician, and educator made the announcement at the International Interfaith Conference organised by the WMA under the patronage of Convener, Julius Salik here at Maryland, Washington.
Convener, World Minorities Alliance (WMA) and Former Federal Minister for Population Welfare of Pakistan, Julius Salik welcomed the support announced by Ms. Hou and appreciated her commitment for the cause.
Salik on the occasion said that the World Minorities Alliance had announced to hold “Do the duty, Save the suffering people” photo exhibition & painting competition on August 27.
It will organise painting competition of photographs of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Hussain Brahim Taha, Lady Diana, Prince William and the Head of the Commonwealth King Charles-III, Former US President, George W. Bush, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia King Suleman Bin Abdul Aziz captured by Late Marcus Salik at the Second World Interfaith Conference to be held on August, 27, 2023 (Sunday) in New York.
The people from all over the United States are invited to participate in this photo competition, in which artists of all ages will be invited to paint pictures.
The United Nations will be persuaded by the WMA through its competition to convince International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and others to issue an international debt relief lottery specifically for developing countries and the UN should formulate a policy for all, whereby 50% of the lottery proceeds will be distributed to the lottery candidates, and 50% of the loan proceeds will remain with the UN. This Loan ending Lottery will help to end loans all over the world.
WMA Convener, J Salik on the occasion said the US based non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are going to collaborate with the Alliance for this event whereas, others interested are welcomed to join this event.
The terms and conditions for participation in the Competition are as follows:
1- Entry will be absolutely free to participate in the painting competition.
2- There will be no restrictions on age and gender.
3- participants can create artworks with any type of oil paint, pencil work, paste color, and water color.
4- And more than one picture can be made but no other picture will be included in the competition except those issued by WMA.
5- While it will be necessary for participants to paste their name and a passport size photo on the back of his or her artwork and send it to Washington.
-6 Image size will be 2′ × 2′ 1/2″.
7- Each picture made of different materials will be placed in a separate category.
8- The first three positions will be awarded by Patron General WMAMS Faisal himself and all the rest will be given certificates of appreciation.
