That the promises made to the tribes at the time of FATA merger /integration have not been fulfilled, therefore we demand that the promises made to the tribal people be fulfilled.
So 3% allocated share in the NFC award should be given, 20 thousand jobs should be given, one hundred and ten billion rupees should be spent on development projects annually, the losses of the victims should be redressed, both PDM and PTI governments left the tribal people helpless which is cruelty.
Jamaat-e-Islami will heal the wounds of the tribal people Jamaat-e-Islami played a frontline role in the abolition of FCR.
Addressing the Rights of Tribes, the speakers said that the ongoing fighting between PTI and PDM is a fighting of chair and the success of both is the failure of the people of Pakistan.
The speakers said that for the last several decades, the tribal people have been pushed into a lane, 70 percent of the youth here are working in foreign countries due to poverty and unemployment While efforts are being made to deprive the people of the mineral reserves, which is not only regrettable but also tantamount to abuse.
On this occasion, the speakers demanded to fulfill the promise of a short annual development fund of one hundred and ten billion rupees in the recommendations of Sartaj Aziz, including providing health, education and employment for the tribal people.
The speakers further said that all the parties took full advantage of Toshakhana and today they accuse each other that your theft is big while our theft is small.
The speakers hinted that the establishment is robbing the people with both hands by riding on the weakness of PDM and PTI.
It should be remembered that Jamaat-e-Islami has started a movement in relation to “Movement for Tribal Rights” in which they have put the following points for the rights of tribal people.
Work should be taken without discrimination to establish peace and order in the merged tribal districts, remove the backwardness of the tribal districts and develop them like other districts of Pakistan.
The government is running away from the recommendations of the Sartaj Aziz Committee on FATA reforms under different pretexts, which is not only a violation of the rights of the tribals but also an abuse.
The government should immediately implement the recommendations of the committee and fulfill the promise of 110 billion rupees annually and 1100 billion rupees in 10 years.
Tribal districts have the same right to national resources as other provinces, so the announced 3% share of NFC award should be provided soon.
12 seats of the National Assembly and 24 seats of the Provincial Assembly should be restored while respecting the rights of tribals to vote.
The rights of the tribals should be recognized on the minerals in the tribal districts.
It is imperative for the economic stability of the tribal districts to simplify the leasing process.
Interest-free loans should be given to unemployed youths of tribal districts to provide better employment opportunities.
Keeping in mind the sacrifices of the tribals for the sake of the country, the right of honorable citizens of the country should be given, immediate payment of compensation for demolished houses in the tribal districts should be ensured.
At least 20 thousand local people should be recruited in Levies for tribal districts. Plans for economic development in tribal districts should be finalized and local political leadership should be taken into confidence.
The negative activities can be crushed by bringing an educational revolution in the tribal districts, so it is imperative to build universities, colleges and schools in every district and restore the damaged infrastructure.
However, the tribals have the right to have health facilities at their doorstep like other Pakistanis.
But the sad fact is that there is no medical college and no big hospital in the 20 thousand square mile areas so practical steps should be taken to provide immediate health facilities.
The tribal youths should be facilitated in getting education and scholarships should be issued for them, sports are said to be the best weapon against negative activities and it is clear as day, that every game, including cricket, has been played by tribals.
Therefore, every tehsil level ground should be made, and suspended special force should be restored in tribal districts.
All the trade routes to Afghanistan should be opened in the tribal districts, so that trade can be promoted in the tribal areas.
