Dar Slaughters Pak Rupee?

“Rupee slaughtered – lost over 62% or 110/$ in 11 months of PDM government. This has increased public debt alone Rs 14.3 trn & historic 75 yr high inflation 31.5%. Pakistanis paying heavy price of regime change conspiracy where a bunch of criminals have been foisted upon nation by ex COAS” says Imran Khan the former Prime Minister who was ousted by the former Army Chief Bajwa in accordance with our political traditions.
Bajwa’s doctrine or political engineering has created an economic turmoil which cannot be denied. Without his consent the PM could have never been ousted. His political engineering created unprecedented level of political and economic instability as a consequence of Khan’s removal.
Ouster of the former PM and the assassination attempt on him is now an old story and the new disaster waiting to strike is the imminent economic default predicted by the economic gurus and Moody’s and Fitch agencies.
The ordinary man has lost more than 50 percent of his purchasing power resulting in food reduction on his table by 50 percent. A major chunk of the Pakistani population was going hungry to bed and malnourished since time immemorial. The nutrition level in Pakistan is abysmally low- resulting in 40 percent youth falling under the category of stunted growth. Even the former Prime Minister, Imran Khan used to raise this issue of malnourishment in his speeches.
The common man is now consuming less than 2100 calories per day the daily requirement for a person to lead a healthy life without falling victim to diseases.
Perhaps its solar energy which is helping the hungry people of Pakistan defy the daily calories requirement intake per day. The government’s nonchalant attitude to the rising 50 percent inflation rate in nothing new. No government has ever cared for the poor man’s kitchen. People are hungry because two percent of the Pakistani people get free, electricity, land, water, food, housing and ownership of land and resources and the privilege of evading taxes. How long will the international donor agencies be able to sustain this unjust economic system remains to be seen. IMF can save the Pakistani rich this year, but will it ever have a policy to save the poor of Pakistan.
With the level of corruption so high and 47 billion dollars to be paid next year in 2024 the situation is very bleak and depressing. The state’s economy is dying while the economy of the Pakistani elite is flourishing in foreign banks.
Pakistani politicians and tycoons have cocooned their corruption money in form of property worth millions of dollars in foreign land while exploiting the green passport to amass million from this poor country. Unless an end is put to this plunder by the elite class the Pakistan population will suffer from inflation, hunger and political instability.
IMF has no solution to the rampant corruption and political instability in Pakistan. The Pakistanis need to come out of these diseases if they wish to survive with respect.
