Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran celebrated its 44th National day Islamabad on Monday, February 13, 2023. The Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad hosted a reception at local Hotel,in Islamabad to mark its National Day and 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Large number of guests mainly Ambassadors, Defense Attaches and diplomats of different countries, Govt and private sectors dignitaries, notables of the society, journalists, traders, religious leaders from different schools of thought were participated in the ceremony.
Former COAS General Aslam Baig, Former Federal Minister Dr Fazal Ch, Moulana Sajid Ali Naqvi, Jamaat Islami leader Liaqat Baluch,Raja Nasir Abbas, Moulana Maismi, Moulana Ifthakhar Naqvi, Ms Kishmala Tariq, Gen Ali and others officers of Pak Army, Pak Navy, and Pak Air Force participated in the event.
Dr Fazal Choudary, leader of PML N and ex federal Minister extended felicitations on behalf of the Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Government of Pakistan and its people to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranian people on the observance of their National Day and the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
In the felicitation message of the prime minister,he said Pakistan and Iran enjoyed strong brotherly relations which had been based upon the shared religious, historic and cultural ties.
He expressed his satisfaction that these durable ties were further growing and strengthening with the passage of time, On the Government behalf former federal minister also expressed his good wishes for the continuous progress, prosperity and welfare of the brotherly nation of Iran.
The event ended with vote of thanks from H.E, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan.
