ISLAMABAD -UNS: A delegation from the Zakat Foundation of America, led by the organization’s Pakistan Country Representative, Dr. Fazal ur Rehman, met with the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, at his office in Islamabad On Thursday.
During the meeting, Dr. Fazal ur Rehman briefed the Minister on the mission of the Zakat Foundation of America and highlighted the foundation’s ongoing humanitarian and development initiatives across Pakistan. He shared that the foundation not only provides rapid relief in times of natural disasters but is also actively involved in long-term development projects in the education, healthcare, livelihood and community empowerment Sectors.

Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf praised the efforts of the Zakat Foundation of America, stating that international humanitarian organizations like ZFA are playing a vital role in the development and welfare of the people of Pakistan.
He acknowledged the foundation’s significant contributions and assured full cooperation from the Ministry in future endeavors, particularly in the areas of social welfare, education, healthcare, and promoting interfaith harmony.
