Islamabad-UNS: Akamatsu Shuichi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, visited National
University of Technology (NUTECH).
Rector NUTECH, along with the University senior leadership, received the delegation and
presented an overview of NUTECH’s academic vision and achievements, avenues for future
academic, cultural collaborations and skills manpower export. He also visited various facilities of
the university.
Ambassador donated set of books related to Japanese language, culture and history to NUTECH
Library. He appreciated NUTECH pivotal role in establishing people-to-people contacts, stating
that these books will enhance students’ understanding of Japanese diverse culture, language and
heritage.
