Pakistani nation ready to counter Indian aggression, arrogance:PMML

LAHORE -UNS: Spokesperson for the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), Tabish Qayyum, strongly rejected Indian media’s ongoing propaganda campaign against the party, terming it baseless, fabricated, and a reflection of India’s unease over Pakistan’s growing national unity.

Speaking to the media on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, Qayyum emphasized that the Markarzi Muslim League is a peaceful, ideological, and patriotic political party working tirelessly for the promotion of national solidarity and Islamic unity. He praised the Pakistani public for their overwhelming participation in the nationwide programs held to commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer, calling it a symbol of unity and resilience.

“India is disturbed by the spirit of unity that emerged across Pakistan on Youm-e-Takbeer,” said Qayyum. “While our nation celebrated its nuclear capability and reaffirmed its national resolve, Indian media continued its baseless smear campaign against a registered political party that has always denounced terrorism in all its forms.”

He reiterated that the Markarzi Muslim League has no links to any banned organization and that such allegations from Indian outlets are fabricated. “The world witnessed Indian media’s lies during ‘Operation Swift Retort’ when they ridiculously claimed to bomb a port in Lahore. Today, the same strategy is being used to malign the PMML, but they will fail.”

Qayyum pointed out that India itself remains a hub of terrorism, having orchestrated several attacks on Pakistani soil. “Pakistan has presented undeniable evidence, including the arrest of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, to the international community. It is time the world takes serious notice of Indian-sponsored terrorism.”

He further remarked that India’s real fear lies in a strong and united Pakistan. “This is why India targets ideological and patriotic forces like the Markarzi Muslim League, which is working under the leadership of Khalid Masood Sindhu to revive the spirit of Pakistan’s founding ideology.”

Responding to Indian media’s claims regarding certain individuals, Qayyum clarified that they are legitimate political activists engaged in democratic processes within Pakistan. “Our party stands for peace, unity, and public service. Our message has always been one of cohesion, not division – something India finds threatening.”
