MIRPUR-UNS: Federal Minister for Kashmir, Gilgit -Baltistan, President of Pakistan Muslim League -N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ,Engineer Amir Maqam,has said that President of Pakistan Muslim League and ex-Prime Minister,Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan the first Muslim and seventh nuclear power of the world by making the country’s defense unbeatable. ‘In response to the Indian blasts, six nuclear bombs made Pakistan’s defense become strong’.
Addressing a big public gathering on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer in Mirpur-AJK ,Engineer Amir Maqm paid tribute to Nawaz Sharif on courageous decisions and nuclear explosions on May 28,1998 in response of Indian nuclear blasts.
He said that Youm-e-Takbeer, the celebration of Pakistan’s atomic explosions in 1998, with a pledge to make the country economically and militarily strong.
He said that India launched a cowardly attack between May 6 and 7, in which innocent civilians were martyred, and Pakistan were forced to retaliate. He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country, but protected the right to defend itself.
The Minister lauded the courage and professionalism of the Pak army and said that our army gave a new chapter in the military history by giving effective response to the enemy.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the nation showed extraordinary unity and determination during the war with India. ‘
‘I congratulate Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sudhu and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and all the officers and army men of Pakistan forces’.
Amir Maqam said that the brave Kashmiris will continue to raise their voices on every forum till the independence of Kashmiris. The Federal Minister said that India is continuing to oppress Kashmiris in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the people of Kashmir are passionately dedicated and love Pakistan and the Pak army. This passion is unbeaten. And if there is a war, every citizen will stand side by side with the Pak army. He said that the whole nation is united, as our ancestors played their role in the independence of Kashmir, it is fortunate for us to be a martyr or a Ghazi to protect the country.
The federal minister was welcomed enthusiastically at several places on the way in Mir Pur, where a large number of people gathered to welcome him. About two dozen cars led the procession as a manifestation of hospitality and excitement,
A large number of Pakistan Muslim League -N workers and local leaders welcomed the Federal Minister, who raised the flags of the Pakistan and the party and chanted slogans of love for the country, including “Pakistan Zindabad”, “Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Zindabad”, and “Pak Army Zindabad”.
The workers were standing on the side of the streets and squeezing flowers and chanting slogans in favor of the leadership of the National Solidarity and PML -N.
The local leadership praised the Federal Minister for his commitment to the area’s development priorities.
In Khari Sharif, Mirpur, Central Liaison Secretary Chaudhry Raksar Ahmed, Shah Ghulam Qadir President PML -N Azad Kashmir, Former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Central General Secretary Tariq Farooq, Central Vice President Chaudhry Saeed, Najib Naqi, Central Information Secretary, Secretary GeneralDistrict President Javed Qadir, Candidate Assembly Azim Bakhsh, Candidate Assembly Masood Khalid, Central Chairman Liaison Board Sardar Tariq, coordinator Health Sardar Imtiaz and Mahmood Kayani also addressed the gathering.
The speakers in his address welcomed the Federal Minister and congratulated the participants on the Youm-e-Takbeer.
