ISLAMABAD -UNS: Pakistan and Kazakhstan on Monday renewed efforts to deepen educational cooperation by organising a joint education fair and Vice Chancellors’ Summit at the National University of Technology (NUTECH), where a high-level Kazakh delegation engaged with Pakistani academic leaders under the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) initiative.
The event, titled “Study in Kazakhstan,” brought together 25 rectors and senior officials from leading Kazakh universities, who presented a range of academic programmes, scholarships, and partnership opportunities. Rectors, vice chancellors, and students from Islamabad and neighbouring areas attended in large numbers, fostering dialogue on academic collaboration and student mobility.
In his address, HEC Chairman Mukhtar Ahmed stressed the importance of expanding educational linkages between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, encouraging students to pursue international learning opportunities for shared development and understanding.
Throughout the day, students interacted with Kazakh university representatives, exploring higher education options and laying the groundwork for future institutional partnerships.
The summit concluded with a commitment to further strengthen academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and cultural cooperation between the two countries
