LAHORE -UNS: President of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, Khalid Masood Sindhu, has stated that Indian water aggression has effectively initiated a new war, with Modi’s government recklessly releasing water without prior notification. He emphasized that the Pakistani nation is united, awake, and stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces to respond to Indian hostilities.
Sindhu warned that the Modi regime must come to its senses, as Pakistan will give a strong and befitting response to this water-based assault. He urged the government of Pakistan to immediately convene meetings of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to alert the international community to India’s aggressive actions.
In a statement regarding India’s sudden release of water into the Jhelum River without prior warning, Khalid Masood Sindhu condemned the act as a blatant violation of international laws and humanitarian principles. He said such irresponsible behavior by India could lead to natural disasters in the region and endanger countless innocent lives.
“This reckless conduct by India is unacceptable,” he said, urging authorities to swiftly relocate residents living along riverbanks to safer locations to prevent major losses. He also directed his party workers to stay prepared to deal with any situation arising from India’s water aggression.
