“First lay down arms”: Govt trying to bring proscribed TTP back to table: Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD -UNS:  The government was trying to bring the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to table but the condition for them was to first lay down arms says Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday.

Addressing a presser in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting agreed on zero-tolerance against terrorism and the implementation on the decisions taken in the meeting would be visible in the coming days.

The minister said the presence of the banned outfit in Afghanistan was a reality, while the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of all the provinces would be provided all-out support by the federation.
