ISLAMABAD –UNS: A colorful and graceful wedding ceremony cum Valima reception of Senior Journalist,Ex-senior vice President PFUJ and Editor-in-Chief Iftikhar Mashwanis’ brother Sajjad Mashwani was held in Islamabad on Saturday.
It was a huge gathering of political leaders,hosts’ family members, friends, relatives, people from different walks of life and notables from the twin cities federal capital,Rawalpindi,Lahore, Punjab,Karachi,Haripur,Abbottabad,Peshawar,Swabi,Haripur and others parts of the country and abroad.
A sumptuous ‘Valima’ lunch was hosted for the guests, which included various types of traditional and non-traditional types of foods. Traditional and local Pakistani cultural values were reflected in the Walima,Barat,Mehndi functions in three consecutive days. Special attention was paid to traditional and local values in the marriage receptions, in which all requirements of the hospitality were fulfilled with dignity and grace.
Sajjad Mashwani’s wedding celebrations lasted for three consecutive days in which hundred of people participated.In the wedding ceremonies, traditional hospitality,local traditions and food were given priority.
Representatives of different schools of thought, political parties,civil society figures,and civil,military bureaucracy were also present on the occasion.
