Awam Pakistan Party joins TTCP alliance

ISLAMABAD -UNS:The first meeting of the big alliance of the opposition was in Islamabad, on Friday. A delegation of Tehreek- i -Tahafuz Constitution of Pakistan(TTCP) led by the member National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai visited the residence of the former prime minister and the leader of Awam Pakistan Party Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and held meeting on current political situations of the country.

This was the first regular meeting of the opposition parties in which the former prime minister  Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was also participated. The meeting was took place after the verdict against founder of PTI Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Abdul Qadir Trust case  in £190m case for ‘corrupt practices’.

Opposition leader Umar Ayub Khan, former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Salman Akram Raja, Sunni Ittehad Council chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Jamaat Wahdat al-Muslimeen chief Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in the delegation of Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Constitution Pakistan.

Former governor Mehtab Abbasi, former finance minister Miftah Ismail and his information secretary were present on behalf of Awam Pakistan Party.

In the meeting, there was a long discussion and consultation on the current political situation of the country and the decision of the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Awam Pakistan Party officially expressed its willingness to join Tehreek Tahafuz Constitution of Pakistan.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Umar Ayub Khan welcomed their decision and welcome them in Tehreek- i -Tahafuz Constitution of Pakistan.

Umer Ayub said that ‘this is the instruction of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan to invite like-minded parties to join our fight for the supremacy of the Constitution.
