By Our Correspondent GUJRANWALA : Gujranwala Business Centre, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Pakistan Business Forum and under the leadership of Yasin Joiya, Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Lahore, has successfully re-initiated corneal implantation in Gujranwala with the support of SriLanka . Recently, five corneas were received and implanted at the Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital, restoring sight to patients free of cost.
With the recent implantation, this initiative has now transformed the lives of 25 patients. Special thanks to Yasin Joiya, Shahroz Rasheed, Chairman of the GBC Welfare Committee, and Dr. Irfan Qayyum for their efforts in making this initiative possible. Their dedication exemplifies the enduring spirit of service and collaboration.
