ISLAMABAD-UNS:President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Atif Ikram Sheikh met DGFIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir, Additional Director Cybercrime Wing Waqaruddin Syed, Additional Director Immigration Abbas Ahsan, Chairman Capital Office Karim Aziz Malik, Vice President Tariq Jadoon. Chairman Coordination Malik Sohail was also present.
During the meeting, Atif Ikram Sheikh said that FPCCI is an apex organization with 274 trade bodies including associations and chambers of commerce. People have issues with FIA immigration, cybercrimes and smaller issues in which we want a focal person to be appointed by the FIA and one by the federation Who will coordinate with each other and decide the issues.
DGFIA Ahmad Ishaq Jahangiri welcomed the proposal of Federation President Atif Ikram and said that the private sector is very important for the economy of any country. Both your problems and suggestions are important for which we will appoint a focal person to avoid any kind of problems in future and resolve the issues in a good manner.
After the meeting, DGFIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangiri presented the shield to President FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh while Atif Ikram Sheikh presented the shield of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce to DGFIA.
