FIA Gujranwala Zone releases performance report against human traffickers

GUJRANWALA -UNS: The FIA ​​has released the details of the actions taken in the month of November against human traffickers, advertisers and suspects involved in white-collar crime.

According to sources, FIA Gujranwala zone registered 193 cases and arrested 88 accused. The arrested suspects include 03 most wanted human traffickers involved in the Libya boat accident and 24 known suspects.

In 120 cases, investigations were completed and challans were submitted to the court while 287 inquiries were completed.

FIA Gujarat, during the operation against the agent mafia, recovered a large number of fake travel documents including 09 Pakistani passports from the possession of the human trafficker, including fake certificates related to NADRA and other institutions and fake appointment letters of the Italian Embassy.

Immigration Sialkot seized fake Greek VVOC and residence cards including fake visas from Saudi Arabia, Italy, Greece and South Africa from 18 different passengers during immigration.

Legal action has been initiated against the said passengers and agents involved.

FIA Immigration Sialkot offloaded 68 passengers due to suspicious travel documents during the last month, including 15 passengers who went to Saudi Arabia and Iraq for fraud.

FIA Immigration Sialkot during various operations deported 8 Bengalis and 01 Afghanis on the basis of suspicious travel documents.

FIA Circle Gujarat recovered lakhs of Euros worth 32 million Pakistani rupees during the crackdown against the Hundi Referral Mafia while more than 62 million rupees were recovered during the course of action in various cases.

Over 15 accused involved in various crimes were sentenced to a total of 25 years in prison and fined in huge amounts.
