Women entrepreneurship expo to be held in Sobra City Tarbela

TARBELA/GHAZI – DR. PERVAIZ AWAN: Women Entrepreneurship Expo to be held in Sobra City Tarbela under the auspicious of Tarbela 5th Extension project with the aim to uplift and Economic Empowerment for Local women Talent

According to the details, under the auspicious of social development program of the Tarbela Fifth Extension Project, a three-day Women’s Entrepreneurship Expo is set to take place at the Sobra City Football Stadium Tarbela. This grand event aims to empower local women by providing them economic opportunities and promoting their handmade crafts, directly supporting the region’s economy. The expo will showcase traditional, handcrafted items created by women from surrounding areas, exposing their skills and dedication to their craft.

Starting in the third week of November, the expo will display locally-made clothing, traditional jewelry, intricately embroidered tablecloths, hand-woven shawls, and ornamental pieces that represent the unique cultural heritage and artistic talent of the region. This initiative not only allows women to present their craftsmanship to a broader audience but also provides them with an avenue for earning a respectable income from their hard work.

The event also includes training sessions and workshops tailored to support budding entrepreneurs. Experts will offer valuable insights on financial planning, branding, marketing, and sales skills, helping women develop and manage successful businesses. These sessions aim to guide participants toward economic self-sufficiency and long-term success in their ventures.
