Hezbollah targets military industries in Israel

UNS : Hezbollah says targeted ‘military industries’ in Haifa, northern Israel.Hezbollah has claimed it carried out a rocket attack against Israeli “military industries” in Zvulun, near the northern city of Haifa, AFP reports.

“Salvos of rockets” were fired twice at “the Zvulun base for military industries north of the city of Haifa”, the group said in a statement. Earlier, it said it had launched drones at the Palmahim air base south of Tel Aviv.

The Israeli army is approaching the end of its intensive ground offensive in southern Lebanon, Israel’s public broadcasting corporation reported citing military sources, Anadolu reports.

“After a month of ground manoeuvres, the army is nearing the conclusion of the intense phase in southern Lebanon, as planned by Israeli and Northern Command leadership,” the report stated.
Thousands of active-duty and reserve soldiers have reportedly been granted leave for recovery.
