ISLAMABAD-UNS: The 45th Annual Forum of Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) and the 13th session of CAP-ICC will be held in Islamabad on October 28 and 29, hosted by the National Assembly.
Members of international legislative bodies, legal experts, intellectuals, representatives of the International Criminal Court and international organizations will participate in the meeting.
In the meeting, the topics of promotion of justice, rule of law, climate change and protection of human rights will be discussed at the regional and international level.
Rome Statute will also be considered in the meeting.
Politician Member National Assembly and President of PGA Syed Naveed Qamar will preside over the meeting.
The National Assembly Secretariat is making preparations to warmly welcome the participants of the meeting and provide the best environment for discussions.
Holding this event in Islamabad reflects Pakistan’s role in promoting global justice, human rights and democratic values.
The PGA Annual Forum and the CAP-ICC meeting will be important milestones in the promotion of democratic values in Pakistan and the establishment of a system based on international laws.
