ISLAMABAD -UNS: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday hosted a dinner in the honour of state dignitaries attending an-all important session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the country.
As the current Chair of the Council of the Heads of Government (CHG), the premier welcomed and shook hands with the attending guests India’s Foreign Minister Jaishankar.
This visit by Jaishankar, who arrived in Pakistan today, is the first of its kind in almost a decade.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the summit, with his visit to Pakistan being the first by a Chinese premier in 11 years.
China, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be represented by their prime ministers while Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref will be attending the summit, the Foreign Office has said.
