SARGODHA: According to the announcement of the Chief Minister of Punjab, more than 4 lakh 76 thousand deserving households in the four districts of Sargodha Division will receive free ration at their doorsteps under the Ramadan package, while Ramadan Bazaar will be opened to provide essential items to the common consumers at cheap prices.
According to the sources, among the more than 4,76,000 beneficiaries of Sargodha division, 2 lac 6000 families of Sargodha,64,000 families of Khushab, 83,600 families of Mianwali and 1,23,000 families of Bhakkar are among the more than 4,76,000 beneficiaries of Sargodha Division. Free cash will be delivered to the households under the Ramadan package and Ramadan bazaars will be set up to provide essential items to the common consumers at cheap prices. And ordered the Deputy Commissioners of Beggars to check and complete the records provided by the beneficiaries within two days. For which the services of patwaris, union council secretaries and employees of other departments including revenue should be taken so that the Ramadan package reaches the rightful person in a timely and safe manner.
The commissioner ordered to complete the transportation plan to ensure 100% delivery of Ramadan package to the beneficiaries of the four districts by March 15. And said that food hampers will be prepared by March 2 by in any case and Food Authority and Revenue staff should be present during packing to ensure the quality and quantity. He appointed Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners for direct monitoring of all this operation. Instruct the other concerned officers to stay in the field themselves.
