PPP,PML-N to finalize,announce power sharing formula today

ISLAMABAD -UNS: An important progress has been made in the fourth round of bilateral negotiations between the two allied parties Pakistan Muslim League (N) PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for the formation of a government in the federation, which can also be called a “breakthrough”.

According to the sources the two parties have agreed in principle on the power sharing formulas in Federal and provincial level to end the political crisis and determine a common strategy for the country’s economy. To finalize all the issues, the members of the coordination committees of the two parties will meet today  on (Monday) in Islamabad.

Under the power sharing formula, the positions of President, Governors and NA Speakership will be given to the Pakistan People’s Party, while the two coalition parties will also form a joint government in Balochistan province, where the post of Chief Minister will also be given to the Pakistan People’s Party, for which Sarfraz Bugti is the favorite candidate.

Sources have confirmed that the federal government will include members of Muslim League (N), People’s Party and MQM.

Today (Monday), the strategy will be finalized for the implementation of the consensus decisions in the last round of negotiations, after which Senator Ishaq Dar and former Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will officially announce the decisions along with the committee members.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar and Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan represented the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in both the committees. Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Shuja Khan and Sardar Bahadur Khan Sahar are representing  Pakistan  People’s Party.
