Over 268 connections disconnected in Punjab, KP,Islamabad; Rs 4 million fine imposed

LAHORE-UNS: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 268 connections; Rs 4 million fine imposed

In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 15 connections on illegal use of gas. In Rawalpindi the team disconnected 40 connections on illegal use of gas while another 6 on use of compressor and amount of Rs 0.28 million against gas theft cases.In Multan six connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas while another 36 on use of compressors.

In Peshawar and Karak,the company disconnected 109 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 3.71 million against gas theft cases .The team also lodged 03 FIRs against gas pilfers.

In Sahiwal, 5 connections were disconnected on use of compressor while another one on illegal use of gas.
In Sheikhupura 42 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.02 million booked against gas theft cases.The regional team of Bahawalpur disconnected one connection on use of compressor.In Faisalabad the team disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas and also imposed fine of Rs0.03 million against gas theft cases.The regional team of Gujarat disconnected 6 connections on illegal use of gas.
