Govt formation efforts started: Zardari,Shahbaz agree talks on future roadmap

LAHORE-UNS: In first contact soon after Feb.8,2024 polls  PML-N and PPP started negotiations for formation of coalition government in federal level.

Both the parties  seem forgetting their differences and sit together to chalk out a roadmap for future government, which could not emerge without an alliance.

The political titans started a series of contacts and meetings with regard to forming a coalition government in the country.

PML-N leader Mian Shehbaz Sharif and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting in Lahore on Friday night.

In the meeting they resolved to continue their meetings unless they agree on terms and conditions leading to the formation of a solid allied government.

Shehbaz Sharif gave Zardari the message of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and discussed political scenario surfaced after the general elections.

Though to some extent Shehbaz, Nawaz and Zardari held their horses and showed constraint from exchanging allegations against one another in their election campaign, Maryam and Bilawal kept stocking criticism to their rivals during their public meetings.

Now post-election situation necessitates contacts and meetings between them.
