Gujranwala: Regarding the security of General Election 2024, Gujranwala Police SSP Operations Faraz Ahmed led a flag march across the city. District Police, Elite Force, Traffic Police, Dolphin Squad and Rangers participated.
The purpose of the flag march is to convey the message to the citizens that the police is always ready to protect their lives and property and that the General Election 2024 is a peaceful process.
On this occasion, City Police Officer Muhammad Ayaz Saleem said that foolproof security arrangements have been made to ensure peace and order during the general election 2024. During the flag march, SSP Operations Faraz Ahmed also appealed to the people to cooperate with the police and other institutions to ensure the establishment of law and order during the general election 2024. The flag march started from Ashraf Marth Shaheed District Police Lines and started in different parts of the city.
It ended in the police lines through the areas. On this occasion, Police Officer Mohammad Ayaz Salim added that the police are not neglectful of their duties and are always alert to deal with any untoward situation.
