‘State of art zoo will be constructed in Gujranwala’

Gujranwala:State of the art zoo will be constructed on 208 canal government land in Gujranwala on the instructions of the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi the land marking process should be started immediately for the construction of the zoo. The best entertainment facilities can be provided to the people of Gujranwala.
These views were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Fayyaz Ahmad Mohal while talking during the inspection of the land allocated for the zoo.

Director Development Abdul Rauf, Assistant Commissioner City Waqas Safdar Sikandari, CO Corporation Haider Ali Chhata, Revenue Department, Public Building, Corporation officers besides Deputy Director Wildlife and officers of other relevant departments were also present on the occasion.

Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Ahmed Mohal directed the officers of Revenue, Public Building, Wildlife and Corporation to complete the Nishandhi process immediately so that tenders can be issued for the commencement of practical work on public interest projects can be issued.

He further directed that a link to the main GT road should be given for the zoo and a special area should also be allocated for parking. He said that Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi wants to provide quality entertainment facilities to the people, therefore the construction of this great project of public interest will be implemented according to international standards.
