WANA-UNS: The grand Jirga of Upper South Waziristan have once again decided to build the district headquarters at Spinkai Ragzai.District headquarter at any other place is not acceptable to the public.
Over 353 Tribal Malikans of Mehsud Qaumi Jirga have decided and Consensus of Spankai Raghzai as District Headquarter.
However, now efforts are being made to make the headquarters controversial.
According to details Spankai is the most suitable location for the Raghazai district headquarters in every sense.
While the establishment of the headquarters in Ladha will increase the problems of the people instead of reducing the problems of the elected representative of the area.
The sources said that the MPA Asif Mehsud does not trust the elders in the national issues and decisions of the tribes which are not good traditions.
The leading elders of Mehsud tribes including Maulana Easamuddin, Anwar Hayat Mehsud, Malik Janan ,Malik Haji Rapa Khan. Malik Saifur Rehman While holding a press conference at the Mehsud Press Club, he said that some so-called leaders want to sit in Islamabad and Peshawar and impose their decisions on the Mehsud nation, who are not aware of the problems of the Mehsud tribal people.
“They do not have the authority to represent the nation or make decisions”. No political Jirga is accepted except for the National Jirga formed and appointed by the administration he added.
The elders complained to the Commissioner Peshawar and said that they are supporting the so-called jirga consisting of the political group of Upper Waziristan by sitting in Peshawar, which is of no importance.
On the occasion, he assured his support to the newly nominated Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and reiterated his demand that he should call for a Jirga regarding the problems of Mehsud tribes and give the Jirga an opportunity to meet to CM.
