DUBAI -UNS: Pakistan fixed a target of 147 runs for India in the Asian Cup -2025 final ,at the Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Kuldeep Yadav’s four-wicket haul from India restricted Pakistan to 146.

Indian spinners struck to keep Pakistan under pressure, reversing impactful innings of the top order during the power play.

Sahibzada Farhan has smashed his second half-century in 35 deliveries against India.

However, Varun Chakaravarthy broke the opening partnership by dismissing Farhan. The opening batter went back to the pavilion after scoring 57 off 38.

During the power play, Farhan and Fakhar Zaman kept Pakistan without any loss.

Green Shirts kept losing wickets after the departure of Fakhar. He was removed by Chakaravarthy during the 15th over.

Three batters — Mohammad Haris, Shaheen Afridi, and Faheem Ashraf — went back to the pavilion without scoring a single run.

After winning the toss, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav — who refused to shake hands with Pakistani skipper Salman Ali Agha for the third time — opted to bowl first.
